Primary Healthcare Services
Diamond International Medicentre undertakes the provision of General Practice (GP), primary health care, and nursing consultations during clinic operation hours. These services include but not limited to adult health, women health, child health, screening & management of chronic and lifestyle diseases. GP consultations are to be provided on appointment basis or as a walk-in service. The GP coordinate referrals to specialists, as and when required, either to the most appropriate secondary/ tertiary care public or private institution available in the proximity or organize specialist consultation in-house. GP issues prescriptions which can be filled either from the Pharmacy within the Diamond International Medicentre facility or any other pharmacies.

Occupational Health Services
Diamond International Medicentre undertakes the provision of Occupational Health Services. These includes but not limited to Pre-employment Medical Examinations and ongoing Occupational Health screening such as annual health checks and periodic medical examination.
Primary Ophthalmic Care and Optometry Services
Diamond International Medicentre provides optometry service ranging from eye screening, refraction and issuing of prescription glasses to minor surgical procedures. We also anticipate to engage specialist Ophthalmologist if and when required. Other minor eye diseases can be treated in consultation with the General Practitioner/ Ophthalmologist.
Emergency Care
Diamond International Medicenter provides emergency services to patients during clinic hours. The following services are available at Diamond International Medicenter:
- An equipped emergency/resuscitation room.
- Capability to provide emergency stabilization prior to movement to an appropriate secondary/ tertiary center of care either within Port Moresby or abroad.
- Provision of ACLS trained staff.
Public Health Services
Diamond International Medicentre undertakes the provision of public health services which includes promotion of clients’ physical health and mental wellbeing, including disease surveillance. This includes working in collaboration with the PNG government public health programs if and when required.
Specialist Services (on Appointment Basis)
Diamond International Medicentre will provide various specialists in-house clinics such as Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, ENT, Cardiology & Internal Medicine, Surgery and Mental Health and others by appointments if & when required. We embark on a public-private-partnership program to establish a network to empower local specialists as much as possible.
Laboratory Services
Diamond International Medicentre provides essential ‘point of care diagnostics’ particularly Rapid Diagnostic Tests. Various range of hematology, biochemistry, histology and microbiology service will be outsourced at the appropriate laboratory service provider.
Pharmacy
Diamond International Medicentre undertakes the provision of a fully stocked pharmaceuticals and medications based on the PNG formulary list. The Pharmacy will dispense the required medicines at clinically indicated intervals as prescribed by our doctors and other registered medical practitioners. Diamond International Medicentre will continue to focus on the use of the PNG formulary medications where possible unless there are strong clinical indications for non-formulary medications.
Antenatal Care and Immunization
Diamond International Medicentre provides comprehensive antenatal care and post-natal care including immunization to ensure that your family is in safe hands.
We also provide ongoing booster vaccination against disease like seasonal FLU, Hepatitis, Typhoid and others.
